Get Bart PE in flash drive!! XP on your thumb drive - Part1


A very useful tool!! When your notebook or desktop is totally down ~ Don't be panic & worry, you can have your personal tool to solve your problem as long as still can booting :P

In my mini project, I’m just adding a few application on it, because due to the limitation of this PE to USB. *Only Maximum 500MB for 1 ISO image* =.=||
Here is the application that I have in my bootable pen drive : ~

Before start making your own tool, I strongly recommend you read on fred Langa “XP On your Thumb Drive” in InformationWeek to get some briefing.

Then start spend some time on download and prepare : ~
1. PEbuilder3110a from http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/
2. HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool.
3. Network Driver base on your own machine.
4. SCSIAdapter driver to make you’re the BartPE detect your local drive.
5. Windows Service Pack 1 for Windows 2003 server.
6. Windows XP installation CD are :-
.... o Windows XP Home Edition (must be slip streamed with Service Pack 1 or higher)
.... o Windows XP Professional (must be slip streamed with Service Pack 1 or higher)
.... o Windows Server 2003, Web Edition
.... o Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition
.... o Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition
